About me

melica

Hello there! My name is Melica Dehghani, and I am a 24-year-old girl with a passion for design, people, and yoga. I studied architecture at Shahid Beheshti University (National University of Iran), and after some time I decided to pivot my career into user interface design.

I have always been fascinated by the way people interact with their environment, whether it's a building or a website. I believe that good design should be both beautiful and functional, and that's what drew me to user interface design. I love the challenge of creating intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that make people's lives easier.

When I'm not designing, Iā€™m usually practicing yoga, which is an essential part of my life. I believe that yoga helps me to cultivate a deeper understanding of human behavior, which all inform my work as a designer.

If you're looking for a designer who is passionate, creative, and loves working with people, then I'd love to hear from you. Let's collaborate and create something amazing together.

logo

As a child, I have cherished memories of my grandparents' old Iranian houses with their large windows. These windows, mostly shaped with curved tops and straight bottoms, opened up to the main courtyard. The courtyard was a vibrant space where people would gather, interact, and create lasting connections. These special windows, known as 'Orosi,' played a vital role in facilitating social interactions within the household. Family members could easily communicate and share moments of togetherness across different rooms, encouraging a strong sense of community.

Inspired by the idea of a window that opens up to a gathering place, I created this logo. It symbolizes the significance of human interactions. Through my projects, I seek to provide a beautiful view into spaces where these interactions truly matter.

color palette

To complete this step, I collected several images that captured the essence of the same concept I had used for my logo. From these images, I created individual color palettes for each one. Next, I carefully selected my favorite colors from each palette and merged them to create a unified color palette for my website.
